London Beck
London Beck is a multi-talented up-and-coming recording artist, songwriter, and music producer. Their vocals are raw and powerful yet vulnerable and sweet. Crisp, silky smooth runs and a range that extends up to a fifth octave B accentuate beats laden with roots expanding all over the musical spectrum, from hip-hop, pop, soul, and even jazz. London is currently growing their fanbase and collection of works, including 2019's Drift EP and the upcoming ANGXL project, and has done a variety of performances. These include a residency as co-curator and performer for Siren's Lounge, a limited cabaret series, and a few headlining performances at The Blind Pig in Ann Arbor, MI. The latter earned London the honor of becoming a Bling Pig Staff Pick in the Detroit Metro Times. But just when you think the ceiling has been reached, London does more. Their background includes over a decade of classical training in playing the viola, having briefly attended New York University as a music performance major. They’re also self-taught in playing piano and guitar. With such talent, as well as the passion and drive to back up their actions, London seeks to become one of the next innovators and icons of the music industry.
Dani Darling
Some people are what we call, "old souls". They have a touch of nostalgia or grace that runs deep. You can feel this phenomenon in the words and vocals of Dani Darling; a jazzy chanteuse from Ann Arbor, MI with an experimental lo-fi sound that is intimate and poetic. Her influences are Billie Holiday, Old Hollywood movie scores, dreams, and the Universe - but this singer/songwriter's goal isn't to take you back in time; its to bring you into her whimsical world where time is like an old tune made new. She was Current Magazine's "Artist to Watch in 2019, and she is The Detroit Metro Times "Artist to Watch in 2020". After releasing her first official single and video "2:22" to critical acclaim from Nylon Magazine, and The Singers Room, "2:22" was also selected for screening at the A2 Tech Film Festival January 2019. Darling recently released "nocturne." a lo-fi dream sequence EP from which the jazzy tune "sentimental." was featured on a Tidal: Rising playlist, and it was The Detroit Metro Times "Best Release of 2019". She performs with her band in Detroit, NYC, Toronto and has performed in Paris, Rome, and Edinburgh.
